Here is a trip that I took on
March / 3 – 5 / 2006
for Joe and Rachel’s wedding
which was on
March – 4 – 2006
In Haiti.
Joe and Rachel
The Wedding Service.
Wayne and I were asked to be
in the Wedding Party. It was an Honor.
The FOOD!!!!
It was so good. Notice how they cut
grapefruit and put long sticks in them
and put cheese curls on top of the sticks.
The Wedding Cake.
I love the way they use there food and
drink as a way to decorate.
Wayne singing with the children that night
after the wedding and reception.Derek and Ruth in the vehicle on the
way to the wedding.
The 6 of us that went out for the wedding.
We added Wayne to our load on the way back
plus a bunch of stuff the Bride needed
taken to her new house. This is one of the MANY Beautiful views
we saw on our trip.
We all enjoyed the trip even though it got kinda LONG
on the way out there. It sure seemed to take a long
time to get there but for some reason the trip
back went faster….
For those of you who do not know Joe, He
is an employee of International Faith
Mission where I was at for V.S.

Interesting to see the wedding customs in another country. And it looks so wonderfully warm…my feet envy yours in flip-flops!!!!!!!!! ~Jo
Hey thanks so much for your comment. I know people have all went through this before and still are but its still hard. Hey it looks like you had fun in hati. Man here were trying to rush spring like wearing sandles in 40 degree weather. But oh well it will come soon enough. ~kayla
