  • I
    had a wonderful time in SC.  I got to go shopping and get some
    things that I will be needing in the next 18 months. By the time I was
    all done getting my stuff I told Mom "If I have to go to wal-mart one
    more time I am going to go nuts"   I do not enjoy shopping at 
    Wal-mart but I did this time because it was kinda "one stop shopping"
    all except for the fact that I had to keep going back for stuff that I
    forgot to get!!!!!!!
    I am so
    happy for Mr and Mrs Myron Yoder. Heidi and I have been good friend's
    for years and I am so glad that it worked out for me to be at their
    wedding on Sat.

    Lord willing I will be going back up to  Soliette on Wed sometime. 

    I got back down here on Monday afternoon but do to Mike needing to take
    Al to the airport  I was not able to go up to  Soliette
    today.  I got to help out in the lab at clinic today.  I was going to wash
    windows at Mike and Jo's house but  Mike asked me to help in the
    lab. It was good to work at the clinic again.  :)

  • Hi there everyone.....
    I came down to IFM's area on Thursday.
    I was going to come down on
    Friday but on Wednesday
    I was in bed sick most of the day. 
    I have been tested for Malaria and the
    test came back positive.   
    I have started on my meds and
    am on the road to being "normal" again. 
    Things are going good for me in Soliette.
    I am hoping to be able to update with some 
    pictures on here on Saturday sometime. 
    Lord willing I  will be going back up to
    Soliette on Sunday morning.
    Tonight I am going with the group from
    IFM to BRIC for supper.
    You all have a wonderful weekend.

  • This will be "good bye" for a while. 
    I am leaving at 1:45 AM to go to Haiti.
    My flight leaves Atlanta going to Miami at 6:25 AM!!
    By 12:30 PM Lord willing I will be in Haiti.
    I will be back for a very short visit over Easter.
    (I am coming back for a wedding.)

  • On February/12  I will be flying to
    Haiti to live in Soliette.  I have
    been asked to go oversee the
    "Every Child School".
    I will also be a living Christian example
    for the ones that live there.
     Lord willing I will be able to have Bible
    classes with the young girls in the
    afternoons and on the weekends.
    As of now I will be there for18 months.
    Please Pray for me as I get ready to go and as
    I do the work God has called me to do.

  • On Dec / 28 / 2007 my Grandpa and Grandma Yoder
    were married for 60 years.  
    Those of us from the family who could got together
    at Grandpa and Grandmas house on
    Dec / 28 - 31 / 2007
    to celebrate with them.
    Here are some pictures of some of the
    things we did that weekend.

    Saturday night we had a time of "Remember when"

    Sunday afternoon Cheryl, Rose, Laura, and I got in the creek. 
    It was cold but it was fun to be "young again"    

     

    Then on Sunday evening Cheryl, Rose, Laura and I were permitted by
    Grandma to read what she wrote in her Journal the day we were born.

    Grandma wrote....

    Sunday night the 4 of us girls had a "campfire"
    and roasted hot dogs at 10 PM!! 
    We even took some to Grandpa and Grandma.  

    Monday morning those of us still there cleaned the house
    for Grandpa and Grandma and then the 4 of us girls made
            "Grandma Cookies"
