On December / 15 I made a Haitian meal for Grandpa Yoders
and all of Waynes children that were able to come.
At the end of the meal Grandpa told me that if that is the kind of
food I get to eat he does not feel so bad for me anymore.
I did tell him that I normally only have the rice and beans with NO
sauce and the salad I made is only made for “special occasions”.Then on December / 17 I made a Haitian meal for Mom, Daddy, Junaita Riehl,
and Wayne & Dorothy Gail Hunsberger (Dorothy is Moms sister)
Wayne had surgery on Dec / 16 and the Doc that did the work is from
our area. They were at Mom and Daddys from Dec / 15 – 19.
Please pray for Wayne as he continues to heal. – ThanksI helped Tom make “Snowman” cookies for his teacher and class mates.
I think Tom had a little to much fun in the peanut butter
that went between the crackers. On December / 18 Mom and Tom took Dorothy Gail and I out for
supper on our way to see the Christmas program at the Fair Play
school where Cheryl teaches (Cheryl is Dorothys oldest child)
We had a good time and the program was really good.Do you think Tom is glad to see me again???? (below L)
I enjoyed a 2 hour lunch with Heidi on December / 22. (below R)
Anne and Heidi took Mom and I out for Lunch. Our time went WAY to fast.
- Thanks Anne and Heidi for the wonderful time together.Happy 5th Birthday
to my nephew Isaac!!!
(He is so happy that he is going to become a “Big Brother” in August / 2009.
Pray for Valarie, she has been having a lot of problems with sickness.)Valarie (my sister-in-law) and her youngest brother Jacob playing
a game after our family Christmas on December / 21 (below L)
Jacob (my brother) reading a story to Isaac from one of the
Bible story books we used in devotions as children.
- WOW that was 20 + years ago that we went
through that book together as a family.
Talk about making me feel old!!!The “Christmas plate” I made up for Mom this year.
(When Mom was growing up Grandpa and Grandma would always
put together a plate of fruit and candy for each on of their children
and the child would find his/her plate at their place
at the table on Christmas morning.)MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ONE AND ALL!!!!!
May God Bless each and Everyone of you!!!
