  • “I see the moon and the moon sees me.
the moon sees somebody I’d like to see.
God Bless the moon and God Bless me.
And God Bless the someone that I’d like to see.”

  • We sing that little song at our home too. Glen used to sing it to me when we were dating. He learned it from his mother. The words we sing are a little different:

I see the moon, and the moon sees me / Down through the leaves of the pecan trees.

God bless the moon, and God bless me. / God bless the ones I love!

  • Full moon in Haiti, there is nothing like the beauty of it! I can still see the road lit up so bright, there was no need for a flashlight on those nights. I think the absence of street lights made a big difference in being able to see the beauty of the night sky.

  • Funny, when I was in Hatiti with Bible School friends from Maranatha, someone taught me that very saying. And I believe it was cause we noticed
the much brighter moon when we were down there!! Glad you are able to go see your loved ones! Have a safe trip!

  • that’s an awesome picture…i love full moons too! hope things go well as you get ready to go home…maybe we’ll get to see each other sometime while were both at home. have a great day!

  • Does the song and the moon bring back a flood of memories or what?  When all the nieces and nephews were little how many times did we go outside after dark and enjoy the great big wonderful moon and stars.  Remember the time it was so cloudy and the moon was so big, we sat in the grass watching the clouds sail past the moon.  WOW, that was a long time ago.  Looking forward to seeing you in a few weeks, Aunt Betsy

  • Less than 2 weeks! I’m sure you can hardly wait. I hope you have good luck in raising the money.

  • Hey, just found out you’re coming home!! Can’t wait to see you!
